Shipping Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies EXCLUSIVELY to items bought and sold through the courtswaps marketplace — that is, used gear transactions between private individuals (C2C). If you visit an external store through our price comparison feature and make a purchase there, that store's own shipping policy applies. courtswaps has no involvement in those transactions.

2. How Shipping Works

When a sale is confirmed on the courtswaps marketplace, the shipping process works as follows:

The seller receives a prepaid shipping label by email.
The seller drops off the package at any pickup point in our partner network.
The buyer collects the package from a nearby pickup point.

3. Delivery Times

Shipments are typically delivered within 24 to 48 hours after the seller drops off the package at the network. This timeframe is indicative and may vary depending on location and network volume.

4. Coverage

courtswaps marketplace shipments cover Portugal and Spain through a network of over 2,500 pickup points in Portugal and over 12,000 in Spain.

5. Package Requirements

To ensure the shipment is accepted by the network, the package must meet the following limits:

Maximum weight: 30 kg.
The largest side cannot exceed 60 cm, and the sum of all three sides (L+W+H) cannot exceed 150 cm.

6. Tracking & Notifications

All shipments include full tracking from the moment of collection through to delivery. Both the buyer and seller receive SMS and email notifications at every step of the journey.

7. Shipping Costs

The shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on the estimated package weight. The exact amount is shown to the buyer before they confirm the purchase. Alternatively, buyers and sellers can arrange an in-person handover at no shipping cost.

8. Insurance
